Huron Perth, ON – Huron Perth Public Health recently completed an inspection blitz focusing on North Huron, in response to questions about compliance in the area. In addition to routine inspections, public health inspectors also focused on requirements under the Reopening Ontario Act. This includes the proof of vaccination requirement for certain indoor public settings.
The inspection blitz found that 94% of North Huron operators were in compliance with provincial requirements. One ticket is pending....

Goderich, ON – Huron Perth Public Health (HPPH) is looking for a dog involved in a biting incident that occurred around 3 p.m. on Sunday, October 24, 2021 near Goderich. The incident occurred on the Goderich Rail Trail between CP Line and McGaw Road.
The dog involved in the incident is described as small to medium-sized, chocolate brown in colour and possibly a spaniel mix. It was unleashed at the time of the bite. The dog was accompanied by a male, who had a second dog on a leash. ...

Huron Perth, ON – The Ontario GO-VAXX bus mobile clinic will be heading to Huron Perth next week to provide first and second doses of Pfizer vaccine to anyone born in 2009 or earlier.
Starting on Tuesday, October 26, the GO-VAXX bus will be stopping in Wingham at the Wescast Community Complex, and then rolling into the Festival Marketplace Shopping Centre in Stratford on Wednesday, October 27.
