Health Unit releases report on cost of eating

Huron Perth, ON – Huron Perth Public Health (HPPH) has released a new report, The Real Cost of Eating in Huron and Perth. The report found that in 2022, the cost of groceries for a family of four in Huron Perth was $249 per week, or $1,076 per month. This does not include non-food items such as toiletries, personal care items or cleaning products.

Huron Perth, ON – As a challenging respiratory illness season continues, Huron Perth Public Health (HPPH) is extending the availability of flu shots at its COVID-19 vaccine clinics until the end of December.

HPPH began offering flu shots on November 15 to individuals receiving a COVID-19 vaccine and has seen good uptake.

North Perth – Huron Perth Public Health (HPPH) is pleased to share that the dog being sought after a biting incident in Listowel on Saturday, November 5, 2022 has been located.

North Perth – Huron Perth Public Health (HPPH) is looking for a dog involved in a biting incident that occurred around 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 5, 2022 in Listowel.  The incident took place at the intersection of Boyne Avenue and Ann Street in Listowel.

The dog involved in the biting incident is described as a Dalmatian. At the time, it was being walked on a leash by an older male.
