  • Our data from Wednesday, January 27, shows that Huron-Perth has a cumulative total of 1,200 confirmed cases since the beginning of the pandemic, with 17 cases added in the last day. There are currently 117 active cases.

Parents and caregivers,

Huron Perth Public Health recognizes that this is a stressful time for parents and caregivers who chose in-school learning for their school-aged children.  We know the announcement about schools in Huron Perth remaining closed for the time being was disappointing for many.

I realize this is not the ideal situation for many parents and caregivers so as we anticipate the re-opening of schools, please take advantage of support that may be available to you...

UPDATE

Today, January 25, marks the one-year anniversary of the first confirmed COVID-19 case in Ontario.  It’s been a tough year and we know many people are experiencing COVID fatigue.  We urge everyone to continue following all public health advice so we can control the spread of the virus.

Bruce Power donates freezer for COVID-19 vaccine to HPPH

TIVERTON, ON January 22, 2021 – Bruce Power has donated a freezer unit to Huron Perth Public Health (HPPH) to assist in the safe and timely roll-out of the Pfizer BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine.

The ultra-low temperature unit, which will be housed at the Health Unit’s Clinton location, will allow HPPH to keep the Pfizer BioNTech vaccine at its necessary temperature as vaccinations in Huron-Perth for priority populations continue.
