HPPH looking for a dog involved in a biting incident in Stratford

Stratford – Huron Perth Public Health (HPPH) is looking for a dog and its owner involved in a biting incident near the path to the Art Gallery between upper and lower Queens Park in Stratford.  

The incident took place on Friday, February 26, 2021 at approximately 8:30 p.m.

The dog involved in the incident is described as a large dog that looked like a German Shepherd. It was running off leash and was accompanied by a man wearing a hat and face mask.

HPPH is investigating this incident to check if the dog has up-to-date rabies shots. This information is vital to managing the treatment of the child who was bitten.
