HPPH looking for dog involved in a biting incident in Stratford

Stratford – Huron Perth Public Health (HPPH) is looking for a dog involved in a biting incident at Avondale Cemetery in Stratford.  The incident took place on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at approximately 11:30 a.m. off the TJ Dolan trail.

The dog involved in the incident is described as a golden doodle or a labradoodle, large in size and yellow in colour.  It was accompanied by three (3) females. The individual bitten was riding their bike through the cemetery. 

HPPH is investigating this incident to check if the dog has up-to-date rabies shots. If the dog is not found, the person who was bitten may need to complete a series of rabies shots.

HPPH reminds people to always obtain the contact information of the owners of the animal involved in a biting incident.
