Administrative Assistant / Program Support (Casual x 2)

We have openings for two (2) casual Administrative Assistant / Program Support staff starting immediately. These positions will be based from our Clinton office.

Summary

Primarily working as reception, this position provides support to ensure delivery of Health Unit programs and administrative services.

Education

  • secondary school diploma
  • advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Pro
  • electronic databases is an asset

Skills

  • ability to provide excellent customer service
  • ability to learn new software programs quickly and efficiently
  • accurate documentation and data entry skills
  • team player
  • experience with Ministry of Health databases would be an asset
  • experience working in a Clinical Environment would be an asset
  • experience utilizing an Electronic Medical Record would be an asset
  • ability to prioritize multiple program demands in a fast paced work environment

Conditions

  • terms and conditions of employment are in accordance with the CUPE Collective Agreement
  • obtain and maintain a satisfactory vulnerable sector check and required immunizations in accordance with Board Policy/Collective Agreements including but not limited to annual influenza and COVID-19 immunizations unless medically contraindicated
  • a valid Ontario Driver’s Licence and access to a safe and well-maintained vehicle suitable for carrying out duties on behalf of the employer

Hours

Monday to Friday; 8:30 am to 4:30 pm (casual)

Wage

$26.58 – 30.50 per hour
