DENTAL HYGIENIST - Temporary Full-time

Summary:

We have an opening for a temporary full-time 1.00 FTE DENTAL HYGIENIST starting November 16, 2026 and ending November 22, 2027. The Dental Hygienist is responsible for the administration and delivery of community and school based oral health screening, assessment and mandated clinical services. This position will be based from our Clinton office.

Education:

  • Diploma in Dental Hygiene from a recognized school
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience

Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Knowledge of health inequities and ability to provide culturally safe care
  • Proven computer skills, including familiarity with Windows, Microsoft office programs and dental software programs.

Conditions:

  • Current registration and authorization to self-initiate with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario
  • Terms and conditions of employment are in accordance with the CUPE Collective Agreement
  • Successful candidates must obtain and maintain a satisfactory vulnerable sector check
  • Immunizations in accordance with Board Policy/Collective Agreements including annual influenza and COVID-19 immunizations unless medically contraindicated
  • Successful candidates must possess and maintain a valid Ontario Driver’s License and access to a safe and well-maintained vehicle suitable for carrying out duties on behalf of the employer

Hours:

Usually 8:30 am – 4:30 pm; Monday to Friday

Wage:

$39.22 – $45.61 per hour
