Health Unit Looking for Dog Involved in Incident in Stratford
Huron Perth, ON – Huron Perth Public Health (HPPH) is looking for a dog involved in an incident in Stratford on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 12 p.m. The incident took place on Snake Hill Rd. (Richard Monette Way/Lakeside Dr.).
The dog involved in the incident is described as medium-sized with short black hair. The breed is unknown. The dog was unleashed when the incident occurred and was thought to have come from the Romeo St./Ontario St. direction.
The person presumed to be the owner of the dog is described as a tall, thin male, about mid-thirties and with brown hair. He was wearing jeans and a plaid shirt.
The health unit is investigating this incident to check if the rabies vaccination status of the dog is up to date.
