HPPH Looking for Dog Involved in an Incident in Stratford - Sept/26

Huron Perth, ON – Huron Perth Public Health (HPPH) is looking for a dog involved in an incident in Stratford on September 5, 2026, between 6 and 7 p.m. The incident took place on Railway Ave., near the Stratford Chick Hatchery at the corner of Railway Ave. and Pine St.

The dog involved in the incident is described as small, knee-high in height, with curly beige fur. The animal owner is described as male, approximately 50-60 years old, with short grey hair and a short reddish beard. He was wearing rain boots, sunglasses, a black tank top, and black shorts at the time of the incident.

The health unit is investigating this incident to check if the rabies vaccination status of the dog is up to date.
