Huron Perth Public Health Releases 2025 Annual Report
Huron Perth, ON – Huron Perth Public Health (HPPH) is pleased to release its 2025 annual report, now available on the health unit’s web site. The report highlights the programs and services delivered in 2025 to prevent disease, protect health, and promote well-being across Huron and Perth.
HPPH uses evidence-based programs, services, and policies to address a wide range of health issues at a community level. The 2025 Annual Report describes work across core public health programs and services, including, infectious disease follow-up and outbreak support in congregate settings; immunization; inspections of food premises and personal service settings; healthy growth and development supports for families and schools; oral health programs for seniors, children and youth; injury and substance misuse prevention; mental wellness promotion; and timely public health information for the community. The report also reflects HPPH’s continued commitment to health equity, access, and inclusion.
Additionally, the 2025 report marks the five-year anniversary of HPPH. Since its formation in 2020, HPPH has continued to build a responsive public health system through strong community partnerships, evidence-informed programs, and a shared commitment to improving population health.
As a publicly funded organization, HPPH is accountable to the community, its board of health, and the Ontario Ministry of Health through regular reporting, including annual reports, strategic plans, and financial statements.
