Administrative Assistant / Program Support (full-time) | Job Posting 07-2024

We have an opening for a full-time (1.00 FTE) ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT / PROGRAM SUPPORT starting immediately. This position will be based from our Clinton office.

Summary:

This position provides support to ensure delivery of Health Unit programs and administrative services on the Sexual Health / Harm Reduction Team.

 Education:

  • secondary school diploma
  • advanced knowledge of Word and Excel
  • electronic databases is an asset

 Skills:

  • ability to learn new software programs quickly and efficiently
  • ability to provide excellent customer service
  • accurate documentation and data entry skills
  • team player
  • experience with Ministry of Health databases
  • experience working in a Clinical Environment
  • experience utilizing an Electronic Medical Record
  • ability to prioritize multiple program demands in a fast paced work environment

 Conditions:

Custodial Staff (Part-Time) | Job Posting 06-2024

 We currently have openings for the following Custodial Staff positions:

  1. Custodial staff, part-time (0.50 FTE - 17.50 hours per week) beginning March 2024 based from our Festival Square (Stratford) office.
  2. Custodial staff, part-time (0.50 FTE - 17.50 hours per week) beginning March 2024 based from our Listowel office.

 Summary:     

Custodial Staff are responsible for ensuring cleanliness and order of the buildings and properties, completing minor repairs to the buildings and equipment and other building and maintenance responsibilities to support the efforts of all staff and programs/services. The incumbent may also assist with Occupational Health and Safety initiatives.

 Education:

  • Minimum of Grade 12 education

 Skills/Knowledge:    

  • Basic knowledge of sanitary practices and their importance
  • Knowledge of Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS)
  • Knowledge of the Occupational Health & Safety Act and other relevant legislation
  • Self-motivated and organized
  • Basic computer skills would be considered an asset
  • Experience with minor repairs and building maintenance
  • Willingness to commute to alternate locations periodically

 Conditions:

  • Ability to lift 40 lbs.
  • Terms and conditions of employment are in accordance with CUPE Perth collective agreement
