Correction: HPPH COVID vaccinations focus on youth aged 11 and under in January

Huron Perth, ON – Huron Perth Public Health (HPPH) is issuing a correction to information we shared on Dec. 12 about our COVID-19 vaccination program. In January 2024, HPPH will focus on providing COVID vaccinations only for youth aged 11 and under (not aged 12 and under). Anyone who has reached their 12th birthday will not be eligible to attend an HPPH COVID-19 vaccine clinic. Individuals aged 12 and older can get a COVID-19 vaccine from a participating pharmacy or primary care provider.

There are still appointments available in the all-ages vaccine clinic being held Dec. 21 in Clinton. January clinics for those aged 11 and under are listed on the HPPH website at www.hpph.ca/getvaccinated. Appointments can be booked through the provincial vaccine portal at www.ontario.ca/book-vaccine/, or by calling the Provincial Vaccine Contact Centre at 1-833-943-3900.
