Health Unit Holding Vaccine Clinics for Students Born 2007-2009

Huron Perth, ON – Huron Perth Public Health (HPPH) will be holding community vaccination clinics this summer for students born in 2007-2009 to help them stay up to date with routine immunizations.
The clinics are open to youth who have:
- Previously received a dose of Hepatitis B (HB) or Human Papillomavirus (HPV), and/or the Meningococcal (MenC-ACYW-135) vaccine and need to complete the series; or
- Not yet received these vaccines and need to start the series.

Huron Perth, ON – Ontario’s Chief Medical Officer of Health (CMOH) announced on June 8 that the Class Order on masking in certain indoor settings will expire as of 12 a.m. on June 11, 2022.
Masks will no longer be required in:
- public transit
- health care settings (e.g., hospitals, doctors’ offices, clinics that provide health care services, laboratories, specimen collection centres, and home and community care)

Huron Perth, ON – To help students get up to date with routine immunizations, Huron Perth Public Health (HPPH) will offer catch-up community clinics starting next week and continuing through the summer.
Routine immunizations for school-age youth include protection against tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis (Tdap vaccine); human papillomavirus (HPV vaccine); hepatitis B (Hep B vaccine); and meningococcal disease (MenC-ACYW-135 vaccine).

Huron Perth, ON – The sixth wave of COVID-19 continues in Ontario, including in Huron Perth, and the impact is being felt in highest risk settings.
